Thainabox started during the beautiful Australian summer of 1998. It was warm, sunny, the surf was perfect, and there was a sweet golden summer glow all around; this was Bondi Beach at it’s best. And here to greet them with open arms, was the very first Thainabox. It was simply, love at first sight.
Today, this love affair continues, with even more stores enlightening customers with that same satisfying feeling. It is food which has it’s origins engrained deep within history, from the chillies which were introduced in the 17th century by Portuguese missionaries, to the wok style stir-frying influenced by the Chinese, to the curries brought in by Indian traders. Thai food is a melting pot of the very best flavours from all around the world, modified, blended and adjusted to suit a large variety of taste buds.
At Thainabox, they understand the importance of taste buds and how individual each person’s taste can be. And so, they have created a simple step menu which enables everyone to design their own dish as they please, and with over 5000 combinations available, satisfying those cravings are as easy as a few simple steps.

Bubblefish were commissioned to do a complete make over for the well established Thainabox restaurant chains. We were in charged for the whole Branding, Packaging, Environmental Design, Campaign and Website Design. It was simply breathtaking to see all the little details comes alive!
Having the unlimited creative freedom and trust from this company, as a team, we are able to push all the boundaries. Motivated by the story behind Thainabox, we came up with the idea of keeping the look of the brand fun, exciting and fresh. We have strategically done this by the use of mix illustrations and collage towards the whole brand. Our vision is for the world to experience the culture of Thainabox, the journey of finding their tasty food adventure and to let their imagination run free.

Colins Butchery is an up-market butcher shop located in the southern Sydney. With fourteen-years experience in supplying the highest produce meats and service, their brand has been well trusted and loved by the community.
When approached by the directors of the company, they understood the importance of having a good branding. With this knowledge, they've trusted the complete directions of the new branding to our capable hands. When creating Colins Butchery branding, bubblefish went with an identity that holds the three most important meaning (concept) for the company:
Organic Look. To represent the quality and importance of hygiene to all products supplied at Colins Butchery. This is to assure colins customers that they have purchased the highest quality meat to bring home with and serve for their loved ones.
Heritage Background. To represent every hard work, passion and commitment goes to this company to what it has become today.
Family Value. The husband and wife who own Colins Butchery explained on our first technical meeting that the company has established when they were still a young family. Fourteen-years later, their boys has been part of the company and expanding the family business together.
We believe we have created one identity that carries Colins Butchery family value for generations to come. We (the bubblefish team) are proud to be part of Colins Butchery's brand creation.
Established in 1996, Planet Cake is owned by Paris & Billy Cutler and is based in a commercial kitchen operated by 10 staff located in the heart of Sydney's iconic and artistic mecca, Balmain. Planet Cake creates cakes daily for celebrations of all types including birthdays, weddings and corporate brand events. A celebrity favourite, Planet Cake has created cakes for Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban's wedding and Celine Dion's 40th birthday.
Paris Cutler contacted bubblefish hoping to use our creative heads for the new Planet Cake member's lounge website. After a few meetings with Paris, bubblefish came up with a great idea to create a new face for Planet Cake to launch together with the new interactive site. A character that can represent them as a fun, vibrant and one-of-a-kind kinda company.
We invented a girl named Perry Cherie to follow their PC initials; Planet Cake and Paris Cutler. The whole process was challenging and exciting, we've created everything from her eyes, hair style, socks, little red shoes and mini dress to represent Paris' personal interest of Japanese Manga.
We want a character who's fun, in-fashion, smart and cheerful; not long after that a new special girl was born named Perry Cherie.
The highly anticipated 'The Wedding Soiree' is a stellar exclusive event that will feature the best and most glamourous brands such as Jo Malone, La Perla, TWG Tea and the debut of Monique Lhuillier wedding dresses in Singapore!. Hosted at the most sublime setting in Singapore, Lantern at the Fullerton Bay Hotel, couples will be able to bask in the picturesque atmosphere admidst beautiful blooms over a glass of Champagne, delectable desserts and the sounds of live music.
bubblefish is responsible for the complete branding of The Wedding Soiree prestigious event.
A winner in the 2007 ABC Limelight Awards and finalist for the 2007 Classical Music Awards, Halcyon is the only Australian ensemble dedicated to the performance of new and recent music for voice and instruments. Artistic directors and performers Jenny Duck-Chong (mezzo soprano) and Alison Morgan (soprano) draw together some of Australia's most esteemed chamber soloists, conductors and singers, in diverse programs of chamber music from across the globe.
Bubblefish was commissioned by Halcyon to create the most artistic and abstract identity for their company. They wanted something very different, fresh and modern to portray them as an artist. After listening to their intriguing and very amusing performances, we felt that the use of an aggressive brush stroke style with a splash of striking orange colour are very appropriate. We believe that we have achieved the best possible image as the face of Halcyon music creation.
